Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney - Employment Litigation and Counseling

Job Description Handle substantive employment litigation matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, and substantive briefs Manage key litigation workstreams with increasing independence Conduct and defend depositions and support hearing preparation Appear at hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences commensurate with experience Advise employers and employees on employment law risks, compliance, and strategy Support workplace investigations and internal employment assessments as needed Counsel clients on discipline, termination, wage practices, policy issues, employment agreements, separation matters, and claims evaluation Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and agency representatives Contribute to efficient case management and overall litigation strategy on significant matters Qualifications 5+ years of litigation experience in state and/or federal court Strong employment litigation experience required Experience with discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour, or related employment matters Demonstrated experience drafting dispositive motions and managing discovery Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Working knowledge of California employment statutes and civil procedure Active California Bar admission required Why You Will Love Working Here You will have the opportunity to do sophisticated employment litigation while also building a trusted counseling practice with real client impact.
