The Engineer V is a seniorlevel technical expert responsible for leading highly complex engineering initiatives and solving critical business and technical challenges. This role provides deep subjectmatter expertise, drives technical strategy, and influences engineering standards and best practices across the organization. Operating with broad autonomy, the Engineer V partners with crossfunctional leaders to design scalable solutions, mentor engineering talent, and ensure engineering outcomes align with longterm business objectives.Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex engineering solutions with enterprise or global impact.Serve as a technical authority and subjectmatter expert within a defined engineering discipline.Define engineering standards, architectures, and best practices to ensure quality, scalability, and reliability.Provide strategic technical guidance to project teams, leaders, and stakeholders.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption when aligned with business objectives.Resolve highrisk, highcomplexity technical issues that impact performance, cost, or continuity.Mentor and coach junior and midlevel engineers; support technical career development.Collaborate across engineering, operations, quality, IT, and business teams to drive integrated solutions.Contribute to longrange planning, technology roadmaps, and innovation initiatives.Ensure solutions comply with applicable standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, includingvariable pay and discretionary awardsin addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO (Paid Time Off) and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
