Quality Leadership & Strategy
Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with AS9100 and NADCAP. Develop and execute quality strategies that support business growth and operational performance. Act as the company's designated quality representative for compliance and governance.
Operational Quality Oversight
Ensure product quality through inspection of raw materials, in-process work, and finished goods. Monitor manufacturing processes to maintain adherence to quality standards. Lead investigations and resolution of nonconformances and quality deviations.
Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
Drive root cause analysis and CAPA initiatives to prevent recurring issues. Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical tools to improve yields and reduce defects. Track and analyze key metrics such as scrap rates, process capability, and failure trends.
New Product Introduction & Engineering Collaboration
Partner cross-functionally to support product launches and process validation. Establish inspection plans, control methods, and quality documentation ahead of production.
Supplier Quality Management
Support supplier selection, qualification, and ongoing performance assessment. Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve incoming part quality. Implement initiatives to reduce inspection reliance through supplier performance gains.
Customer & Regulatory Engagement
Serve as the main point of contact for customers, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Lead customer complaint investigations and ensure timely resolution. Maintain audit readiness and support certification requirements.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing quality team. Oversee hiring, training, and performance management. Promote a company-wide culture of quality ownership.
Training & Compliance
Develop and deliver internal quality training programs. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and safety standards. Champion best practices and continuous improvement across the organization.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. 10+ years of quality experience in aerospace or high-spec manufacturing. Proven leadership experience managing quality systems and teams. Strong knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, and advanced welding processes (Laser, EBW, GTAW). Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies. Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
