About the Role
The Company is seeking a Product Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the relationship management of existing clients, educating them and prospects on the use, features, and benefits of the investment management and data platform. This role is particularly focused on the Asian Pacific markets and involves staying current on the latest technology and best practices to ensure clients, including traders, managers, and operations professionals, derive maximum value from the platform. The Product Specialist will also be involved in pre-sales engagements, demonstrating solutions, and participating in client and prospect events. As a senior role, the candidate must be a subject matter expert, capable of addressing product, workflow, and best practice questions, and be perceived as highly credible in the investment industry. Applicants for the Product Specialist position at the company should have a minimum of 4-5 years' of experience in the financial services industry, with a background in investment management software and/or data solutions. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. The role demands a deep understanding of investment markets from a front and/or middle office perspective, technical acumen to articulate and demonstrate the advantages of the platform, and excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. The ability to foster relationships with senior market practitioners and a consultative presentation style are essential. While not mandatory, language skills in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, or Thai would be an advantage. The role also requires 20-30% regional travel within the Asia-Pacific.
