Membership Sales & Engagement Specialist

Benefits: Employee discounts Flexible schedule Location: SPENGA Valparaiso About the Role We’re looking for a motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Membership Sales & Engagement Specialist to help grow our studio and strengthen our member community. This role is perfect for someone who loves building relationships, thrives in a sales environment, and is passionate about health and fitness. This is much more than a front desk position. You’ll be responsible for converting prospects into members, creating exceptional member experiences, organizing community events, and helping our studio continue to grow. Responsibilities Convert leads into memberships through tours, consultations, follow-up calls, texts, and emails. Confidently present membership options and consistently achieve sales goals. Build relationships with prospective and current members. Lead the studio’s member engagement program to increase retention and referrals. Plan and coordinate community events, partnerships, and studio promotions. Welcome members and guests while creating an exceptional first impression. Maintain accurate lead and member information using studio software and CRM systems. Assist with social media content, promotions, and marketing initiatives. Support daily studio operations and maintain a clean, professional environment. Work closely with the ownership team to achieve studio growth goals. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in fitness, hospitality, retail, or a service-based business. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills. Comfortable asking for the sale and overcoming objections. Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems. Strong organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Positive, energetic, and professional attitude. Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their goals. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and community events as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience in fitness membership sales. Experience with CRM or client management software. Social media and event planning experience. Experience building community partnerships.
