This hospital-based outpatient oncology treatment center provides specialized medical oncology services within a structured on-site setting. The facility is supported by a clinical team that includes physician assistants in both the clinic and infusion center, as well as office and authorization staff to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery. The position is available due to a physician retirement, and credentialing timelines are variable, often ranging from one to two months.

Kingston is a historic city that served as New York State's first capital, with Dutch roots dating to 1652. The area offers a range of cultural and outdoor attractions, including the Hudson River Maritime Museum, Senate House State Historic Site, and the Ulster Performing Arts Center. Access to the Hudson River and Rondout Creek supports activities such as kayaking, sailing, boat cruises, and hiking along trails including the Ashokan Rail Trail, while a thriving arts scene, dining options, and local markets provide additional options for clinicians during time away from assignment.

Clinicians will provide on-site medical oncology coverage at a hospital-based outpatient oncology treatment center, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, managing 10-15 patients per day with 0-2 new consults expected daily. The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of general hematologic and oncologic conditions within an outpatient clinic setting, with no call obligations required. Support staff available throughout the assignment include a PA in the clinic, a PA in the infusion center, and office and authorization staff.
