This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced MEDITECH professional to play a critical role in supporting and optimizing the Surgery (SUR) module across multiple systems including MEDITECH 5.6, Expanse On-Prem, and Expanse Cloud. The role focuses on high-volume build tasks with complex, facility-specific workflows and fast-paced deployment timelines. You'll contribute directly to ensuring clinical system accuracy, enhance operational workflows, and influence best practices across implementations. Ideal for someone with a surgical or clinical IT background ready to take initiative in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Accountabilities: Support local build tasks and implementation of the MEDITECH SUR module with a focus on timely and accurate execution Analyze facility-specific workflows to tailor solutions that ensure system functionality and compliance with best practices Guide and advise clients on optimized clinical workflows and system configurations Collaborate with internal and client-side teams to enhance project understanding and delivery timelines Lead documentation development and contribute to training and knowledge-sharing efforts Identify process improvement opportunities and integrate lessons learned into methodology Communicate project scope, milestones, risks, and task prioritization effectively to stakeholders Work independently or as part of a project team, while driving proactive communication and deliverable management Requirements 7+ years of hands-on experience with MEDITECH systems (Magic, C/S, Expanse), especially in Surgery module support Clinical or operational background in Surgery, PACU, or Same Day Surgery strongly preferred Bachelor's degree preferred; medical billing or accounting experience is a plus Proficiency in business process analysis and implementation of workflow best practices Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a remote setup Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative and client-focused approach Skilled in documentation, task coordination, and team communication across departments Demonstrated adaptability, initiative, and a high sense of accountability and ownership Comfortable coaching others and translating requirements into actionable deliverables for development and training teams Benefits 12-month contract with full remote flexibility across the U.S Opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact healthcare IT projects Collaborative work culture focused on knowledge sharing and process improvement Exposure to cutting-edge MEDITECH Expanse Cloud transition initiatives Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications Professional development through dynamic project exposure and peer learning Jobgether is a Talent Matching Platform that partners with companies worldwide to efficiently connect top talent with the right opportunities through AI-driven job matching.
