Job Description
Please Note this position is for a hybrid 2nd Shift, Mon-Thurs, 12:00pm-10:30pm. You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 2nd Shift.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

This position is for the operation of Laser Seal equipment for hermetic seal of microelectronic devices. Responsibilities include c hecking equipment for proper operation prior to use. Preparation of parts for laser welding and seam seal. Fixturing, set up, and laser weld of microelectronic packages and components. Set up and parallel seam seal of microelectronic hybrid packages. Set up and laser marking of parts. Leak testing of hermetically sealed parts. Detection and reporting of defective materials and welds. Documentation of work performed.

Candidate must have basic computer and math skills. Must be able to read and interpret drawings, process instructions, and routers. Should have good mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity and attention to detail. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Computer competency and English literacy is required to ensure the candidate will be capable of following instruction/safety guidelines.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $47614 - $76181

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
