About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Group Accounting to join their mission of delivering renewable energy in a simple and reliable way. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the accounting function, including the preparation of financial reports, leading the annual audit process, and developing and improving reporting structures and systems. This role also involves close collaboration with internal and external accounting roles in international markets, as well as participation in budget and forecasting processes. The ideal candidate should be a results-driven individual with strong technical accounting expertise, capable of leading effectively in a dynamic environment, and with an international mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to handle multiple work streams and a commitment to the values of the company. To excel in this position, the Head of Group Accounting at the company should be a hands-on individual who is results-oriented and can effectively manage a range of responsibilities. The role requires a candidate who is fluent in English, with the ability to communicate in Norwegian being an advantage. Experience with consolidation, particularly in an international context, and a background in a culturally diverse environment are also valued. The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO on strategic initiatives and improvement processes, and must be capable of collaborating with colleagues and external partners at all levels.
