Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with at least 2 years of OR experience for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital in Elko, NV.

Job Details

• Hospital Operating Room setting with 5 OR suites and a 1:1 patient ratio,
• Surgical specialties include Ortho, General, GYN, ENT, Endoscopy, OB, Ophthalmology, Urology, and Podiatry,
• Patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric,
• Common procedures include total joints, C-sections, laparoscopic hernia, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, LAVH, FESS, T&A, thyroidectomy, colonoscopy, EGD, and food bolus/dilations,
• Equipment includes Stryker towers, Stryker Scopis, Medtronic, Olympus scopes, and OER PRO,
• EHR systems include Pinpoint CQI and Medhost,
• Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM,
• On-call required: 1 weekday per week and 1 weekend per month,
• Every other weekend coverage required,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of OR scrub tech experience,
• Experience in Ortho, General, GYN, ENT, and Endoscopy required,
• BLS certification required (AHA-issued),
• CST credential preferred,
• Previous travel experience preferred,
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate,
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months,
• Candidates must not be employed full-time elsewhere,
• Social Security number required for consideration,

• License required if applicable,
