Registered Nurse - 7th Floor Surgical - Contingent

The 7th floor is a 23‑bed surgical unit. The patient population consists of post‑operative surgeries that do not require telemetry. Typical procedures include hip/knee replacements, spinal and other orthopedic surgeries, bariatrics, hysterectomies, and general surgeries. Trauma patients also receive care on our unit. We are a service center for excellence in orthopedics and bariatrics, with a rapid recovery program that allows most joint replacement patients to return home the day after surgery. Surgical experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome. Our staff enjoy flexible scheduling and the ability to self‑schedule preferred days to work. The unit emphasizes teamwork and collaboration.
