Key Responsibilities Conducting safety meetings Identifying potential risks Implementing necessary safety measures Providing safety education Developing work plans Scrutinizing safety plans from external partners to ensure project safety Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a safety manager, coordinator, or trainer Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, or a related field is preferred Strong leadership skills to effectively train and mentor others within the team Comprehensive understanding of OSHA regulations Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement effective corrective measures Excellent verbal and written communication skills OSHA 30 certification required OSHA 500 preferred CSST Certification preferred English/Spanish bilingual considered a plus Location: Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station in Tonopah, AZ. Base salary of $65,000 to $80,000 based on qualifications and experience.
