Jira Admin/Program Manager

Our client, a leading organization in autonomous mobility, is seeking a Jira Admin/Program Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Jira Admin/Program Manager, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Support Department, supporting cross-functional technical teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $75/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Support and maintain Jira and Confluence environments for engineering teams, ensuring optimal performance and usability.

• Assist technical teams with configuring Jira projects, workflows, custom fields, and permission schemes to streamline processes.

• Automate and integrate Jira with other developer tools to enhance productivity and traceability.

• Develop insightful dashboards and reports to monitor project health, team performance, and key metrics.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze workflows, document processes, and implement continuous improvements.

What's Needed?

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

• 6+ years of experience in technical program management or project management within a software development environment.

• Proficiency with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence, including advanced configuration and JQL queries.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and integrating Jira with SDLC tools like Git.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define metrics, analyze data, and generate actionable insights.
