Investment banking Industrials Associate - New York

I'm currently working with a leading global upper-middle market M&A boutique, currently looking to add an Associate II or III to their Industrials team in New York. My client is a very successful boutique with a very recognizable brand name. In recent years, they have significantly grown their senior Industrials team, including leadership, and are now looking to add an Associate to the team to help with the momentum and deal flow the team has been experiencing. Our client is going through a growth period having achieved 23% growth year-over-year over the last year. The advisor tends to do deals upwards from $500 million and can take advantage of a balance sheet as well. Despite their success and strong brand name, the platform has a great no-ego culture, which it looks to maintain.

Despite its boutique format, my client also has access to a balance sheet, which allows access to larger clients.

The successful candidate would join a very strong and established team. They would receive mentorship from an incredible senior team as well as exposure to great M&A deal flow.

The client is also prepared to pay a full-year's bonus for 2026/2027 to the Associate joining.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution of M&A transactions, including financial modelling and valuation

• Preparation of client materials (pitchbooks, CIMs, board presentations)

• Managing diligence processes and coordinating with clients and counterparties

• Mentoring Analysts

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking

• Strong technical skillset (LBO, DCF, merger models)

• Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment

• Industrials, and in particular Business Services, experience is beneficial, but not essential
