HEALTH & SAFETY ADMINISTRATOR

ENTACT has numerous regional offices and project sites across the United States. We are well positioned to serve our clients nationwide. ENTACT is currently seeking a Healthy & Safety Administrator to work in our Westmont, IL office. This role will be in the office while training, then will shift to a hybrid arrangement once training is successfully completed. Position Summary: The Health & Safety Administrator oversees employee and client compliance programs supporting ENTACT’s health and safety operations. This position reviews regulatory and client requirements; manages substance abuse prevention, consortium required background screening, MVR monitoring, training, and related compliance processes; evaluates findings and resolves nonroutine issues; and analyzes compliance data to identify risks, trends, and corrective-action priorities. Working with management, operations, employees, clients, and vendors, the Health & Safety Administrator provides guidance and recommendations, prepares compliance reports, and ensures timely, consistent execution of program requirements across the organization. The role requires sound judgment, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives with limited supervision while providing cross-functional support for HSA administration programs. Essential Job Functions: The HSA's work ensures ENTACT is compliant with federal, state and local workplace safety laws and regulations as well as client expectations. Oversee ENTACT’s compliance with client substance abuse prevention requirements through DISA Contractor Consortium program, interpreting client standards and determining appropriate compliance actions. Direct the administration of other client- required drug- screening programs, evaluating requirements, resolving exceptions, and coordinating appropriate responses. Oversee ENTACT’s compliance with NCMS substance abuse prevention requirements, assessing program obligations and implementing necessary controls. Manage client- specific consortium required background-check requirements checks in DISA, reviewing results, addressing discrepancies, and determining required follow-up. Manage the MVR monitoring program; evaluate findings against applicable standards and elevate or recommend action on identified risks. Coordinate and register Associates for safety and compliance training based on regulatory, client, and operational requirements, prioritizing needs and resolving scheduling conflicts. Track safety and compliance completion data, identify gaps and trends, and develop reports and recommendations for management and operational stakeholders. Track, monitor and evaluate, report compliance with applicable status for various regulatory requirements, interpret changes or exceptions, and advise stakeholders on corrective actions and priorities. Provide cross-functional coverage for HSA administration programs—including medical surveillance, substance abuse screening, training registration and tracking, MVR reviews, and supply-chain compliance platforms such as ISNetworld—independently assessing priorities and resolving complex or nonroutine issues. Other duties as assigned by the ENTACT Health and Safety Director. Skills/Experience Required: Demonstrated ability to independently organize and prioritize multiple compliance initiatives in a fast-paced environment, exercise sound judgment with limited supervision, adapt to changing business needs, and use Microsoft Office applications—particularly Excel—to analyze information and support decisions. 5 years Professional experience in workplace safety, human resources, healthcare, or a related field that requires interpreting standards, evaluating compliance matters, and recommending appropriate courses of action. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret complex requirements, prepare clear reports and recommendations, and advise managers, employees, clients, and vendors on compliance matters. Experience administering employer compliance programs involving OSHA and HAZWOPER requirements, including independently interpreting regulatory obligations, assessing nonroutine issues, and advising stakeholders on appropriate compliance actions. The job is primarily performed indoors in a traditional office setting. Travel to project sites and offices required on an as needed basis. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Job success often hinges upon interpersonal communication and relationship development skills, and job tasks require frequent interchange, and successful completion depends in large part upon effective interaction and communication with others. Ability to safely travel by air, car, train or bus. Full Time Pay : The salary range for this position is $60,000/yr -$70,000/yr commensurate with experience.
