Staff Mobile Engineer - Kotlin Multiplatform

Salary: $140,000 - 180,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for someone with 8+ years of mobile development experience and a history of shipping production apps on Android, iOS, or both.
• We need strong Kotlin expertise, including coroutines and Flow.
• We value a clear interest in AI engineering.
• We expect solid familiarity with mobile tooling and app store release processes.
• We are seeking someone with strong instincts for mobile products.
• Experience with Compose Multiplatform or deep Jetpack Compose knowledge, including recomposition stability, would be advantageous.
• SwiftUI experience is a plus, especially comfort working across the Swift/Kotlin boundary using SKIE, Swift Export, or handwritten interoperability code.
• Experience with Rust UniFFI, C++, or JavaScript would be beneficial.
• Contributions to open-source ML/AI or KMP libraries would be a bonus.

• We will have you develop shared Kotlin Multiplatform modules with substantial, testable business logic and repository layers.
• We will have you build UI in Compose Multiplatform and native SwiftUI while connecting it to shared code.
• We will expect you to integrate on-device and remote artificial intelligence frameworks.
• You will profile, optimize, and harden app performance on real devices, as well as troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• You will review code changes from both people and coding agents, help shape team conventions, mentor teammates, and raise the overall quality of delivered code.
