Compensation & Location Base pay range: $27.00/hr - $27.00/hr Location: Phoenix, AZ 85012 (Remote) Duration: 6 Months Schedule: M-F 7-5pm, will work 30-40 hours/week based on volume Work arrangement: Hybrid: can work fully remote or in office if they prefer. Job Description This position acts as the primary point of contact for processing documents related to service reductions, reviewing, and coordinating all process activities with DES/DDD. This position will require critical thinking and the ability to determine if the documentation supports the requirements of the adverse benefit change. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for processing documents related to service reductions Review and coordinate all process activities with DES/DDD Apply critical thinking to determine whether documentation supports adverse benefit change requirements Required Skills & Abilities Ability to conduct research Ability to understand, interpret, and apply Federal and State laws, statutes, rules, regulations, and policies Ability to convey complex information in written form in clear, concise language, supported by documentation Skill in analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting a variety of programmatic information Problem-solving skills Effective oral and written communication Ability to work remotely and in the office as needed Ability to work independently and follow standard operating procedures Training will be provided Experience Experience in reviewing and analyzing documents/information Experience with a managed healthcare organization Case management experience Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Employment Type Contract Industry Government Relations Services Note: This description retains the essential job details and removes boilerplate and extraneous postings.
