Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bartender to join our Team in Seminole Heights! The ideal candidate will be passionate about craft beer, exceptional customer service, and creating a memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft Beer Ambassador: You'll educate guests on our Florida Avenue Brewing creations, guiding them through flavor profiles and recommending perfect pairings for their food selections.
• Cocktail Artisan: With a focus on using high-quality ingredients, you'll craft creative and classic cocktails, following established recipes and showcasing your knowledge of customer favorites.
• Guest Service Champion: Delivering exceptional service is key. You'll warmly greet patrons, take orders attentively, and ensure every visit is a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Beyond guest interaction, you'll also be a master of bar operations, including:

• Inventory Management Specialist: You'll meticulously coordinate daily supply inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained through timely order submissions, and assist with deliveries when needed.
• Bar Sanitation & Maintenance Expert: Upholding the highest standards of cleanliness is paramount. You'll meticulously clean and sanitize the bar area, ensuring all glassware and utensils sparkle, and maintain an attractive display of bottles and glasses.
• Safety & Sanitation Champion: Following rigorous alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety protocols is essential. You'll meticulously maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
• Payment Processing Pro: You'll efficiently accept payments from customers, ensure accurate cash handling procedures, and balance cash receipts to record sales.

We're looking for an individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses the following qualifications:

• Proven industry-standard knowledge of beer, encompassing various styles, brewing processes, and proper serving techniques. A deep understanding of Florida Avenue Brewing's beers is a significant advantage.
• Extensive experience in crafting cocktails, demonstrating a passion for using fresh ingredients and innovative techniques.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to connect with guests, answer their inquiries confidently, and provide exceptional service consistently.
• A positive and energetic personality, allowing you to flourish in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Availability to work weekends and evenings.

Cicerone Certification (Preferred): While not mandatory, a Cicerone Certification demonstrates a strong understanding of beer and brewing processes. If you possess this certification, your application will be highly regarded.

Education and Certification:

• Certified Cicerone Beer Server preferred. Must be obtained within 60 days of hiring.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height and push or pull 160 lbs.
• Must be able to work on your feet for 10 hours
• Must be able to crouch, bend, lift, and reach
• Must be able to work in hot, wet, and loud environment
