Registered Nurse – Acute Care

Day Shift - 36 or 48 hours

Assignment Details

Holiday RTO will not be approved.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from approved vendor required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification required
• Acute care facility experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute care setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
• Document patient care accurately and timely
