Contract Patient Services Representative- Pediatric

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Contract Patient Services Representative - Pediatric to join their team. As a Patient Services Representative, you will be part of the Patient Services Department supporting the dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Contract Patient Services Representative - Pediatric Location: New York, NY Pay Range: $28 - $30 per hour What's the Job? Provide the first level of customer service to patients of the dental clinic, from greeting and routing patients to record maintenance and cashier duties. Monitor daily clinic operations, ensuring adherence to established guidelines. Assign and review work of student and/or casual employees engaged in routine tasks. Schedule follow-up examinations and arrange for substitute patients as cancellations occur. Handle inquiries requiring additional investigation and/or specialized knowledge. What's Needed? Experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or pediatric setting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to triage emergencies effectively.
