As a Senior Principal Contract Administrator – Level 4 located in Dulles, VA, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.A Contract Administrator produces high quality Contract Management related products supporting the SATCOM Direct Commercial Sales (DCS). This position requires a basic understanding of DCS and DOD contracting, excellent communication skills, strong technology acumen in M365, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is a team player; but also, a strong independent contributor with strong leadership skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and a detail-oriented approach.This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.Your mission, should you choose to accept:Prioritize proposal activities and working on multiple tasks simultaneouslyIdentify contractual risks and mitigate with appropriate contract provisionsServe as key business advisor to the program managers on contractual and operational mattersPlan and execute successful contract negotiations of a complex nature and achieving targeted profit rates, favorable terms and conditions on both contracts and other agreements inclusive of teaming agreements required to assist in mitigating risk and meeting overall financial goalsBuild customer intimacy despite geographical separation as well as be able to effectively cultivate those relationships early onMake decisions in a timely manner under tight deadlines and pressureOffer guidance and work collaboratively with a multitude of organizations ranging from technical, program, finance, global supply chain, global mobility office and security for seamless contract administrationOther duties as assignedWhy you? Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearanceExperience negotiating and administering various contract typesUnderstanding the requirements of government regulations, such as FAR or DFARExperience in negotiation and managing DCS (Direct Commercial Sales) and associate terms and conditions with international customers/buyersWorking knowledge in commercial export licensing and controls and associated regulations (Export Administration Regulations and Arms Export Control Act)Preferred Qualifications:An In-depth knowledge of FAR, DFAR, and UCC as well as experience with different contract typesExperience supporting ECPs and REAsExtensive Proposal Support is a plus.NCMA Certification (CPCM, CFCM and/or CCCM)Northrop Grumman Total RewardsPrimary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
