Tax Intern, Transfer Pricing - Summer 2027 (Atlanta)

Job Summary The Tax Intern, Transfer Pricing works with a team of consulting economists to help multi‑national companies correctly price their transactions between entities within their corporate group. This role assists with examining a variety of economic conditions and industry trends, evaluating clients’ intercompany transactions and consulting with clients to set or substantiate prices charged between their related parties. The analysis of intercompany pricing is used to help companies comply with foreign and domestic tax regulations. The position requires not only strong analytical skills, but also exceptional writing and editing skills. Job Duties Information Gathering Conduct client interviews to gather information about corporate structure, division of functional responsibilities, distribution of risks, value drivers for profitability, industry overview and competitive pressure, and historical context of current circumstances. Financial Analysis Analyze industry data and client financial data to benchmark or document appropriate intercompany pricing policies. Perform additional financial analysis such as evaluating market penetration scenarios or calculating the value of intangible property. Prepare project reports for clients, including approach, research, quantitative analysis, final results, and consulting advice. Prepare and present findings to clients. Participate in pitches to potential clients. Report Writing Write industry overviews and functional analyses for transfer pricing reports and documents. Take interview notes and prepare detailed summaries for team members. Proofread and edit reports. Write technical memos describing analytical processes. Other duties as required. Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or another relevant field of study. Leadership experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Exceptional research and writing skills. Strong analytical and basic research skills. Solid organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines. Capable of working in a deadline‑driven environment and handling multiple projects simultaneously. Basic understanding of transfer pricing and a desire to learn more about the industry.
