Job Description

• Craft Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' requirements and create customized therapy plans designed to help them achieve their functional targets
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate both patients and caregivers on therapy techniques to encourage ongoing progress at home
• Track and Record Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patient goals remain attainable

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications welcomed and supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification required
