TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Corpus Christi, Texas. Job Details Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 (12‑hour night shifts) Employment type: Travel Responsibilities As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients. Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function and report malfunctions to the director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples in accordance with procedure guidelines. Interact with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for the patient being treated. Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support. Qualifications Minimum 1 year recent acute‑care experience. Current BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS and NRP may be required in some areas. RRT certification and at least 2 years of experience.
