Dermatology Physician Assistant

Role Overview This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a Dermatology Physician Assistant located in Natick, MA. In this role, you’ll manage patients presenting with a variety of skin-related conditions, carrying out assessments, clinical evaluations, and treatment planning in collaboration with a board-certified dermatologist. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients by gathering detailed histories and performing focused physical exams Identify potential diagnoses and develop appropriate, evidence-based treatment plans Manage follow-up care, including routine visits and skin cancer screenings Perform in-office procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, and minor excisions (based on experience) Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and preventive skin care practices Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system Review lab and pathology results and communicate findings to patients as needed Coordinate with clinical staff and respond to patient inquiries promptly Participate in team discussions and support a collaborative clinic environment Follow established clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines This position follows a four-day workweek, totaling 36 hours of direct patient care. Qualifications Active or eligible Physician Assistant license in Massachusetts NCCPA certification (current or in progress) Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience preferred; candidates with strong procedural or diagnostic experience in other outpatient specialties will also be considered Ability to assess and manage a wide range of dermatologic conditions Experience or willingness to perform common dermatologic procedures Strong documentation skills and familiarity with EHR systems Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting Commitment to ongoing learning, clinical excellence, and ethical practice Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (Master’s degree preferred)
