Content Lead - Leading Podcasts

Podcast Producer (Content Lead) We’re looking for a Podcast Producer who is obsessed with great content. This is a pivotal role at 7XContent. You’ll own the strategy, editorial direction, and delivery for one or two leading video‑first podcasts, working closely with creators, editors, and our internal team to make shows that actually perform. This is not a coordination role. It’s about storytelling, growth, and ownership. What you’ll do Own the end‑to‑end delivery of one episode. Generate strong episode ideas, hooks, and briefs. Shape episode structure, pacing, and narrative. Brief editors clearly on edits, trailers, and clips. Review edits and give decisive, high‑quality feedback. Contribute titles, thumbnail direction, and packaging ideas. Track performance and suggest improvements week‑on‑week. Act as the primary day‑to‑day point of contact for clients, communicating clearly, confidently, and proactively. What this role is really about Make calls with incomplete information. Balance creativity with performance. Protect quality while shipping consistently. Push back (politely but firmly) when something can be better. Ideal candidate Is genuinely podcast and content obsessed. Has strong editorial taste and instinct. Understands what drives performance on YouTube, Spotify, and social. Is data‑literate and comfortable reviewing analytics. Is highly organised and strong at prioritisation. Can manage 1–2 clients without dropping standards. Defaults to believing problems are solvable. Is proactive, resourceful, and decisive. Is a clear and confident communicator.
