Veterinary Radiologist

About the Hospital Pet Specialists of Monterey (PSM), a BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital, is an AAHA certified, state‑of‑the‑art, 24‑hour emergency and referral hospital located in Monterey, California. Position We are seeking a Radiology Specialist to join our emergency and specialty practice. The annual range for this position is $252,000–$295,000, with additional production opportunities. Sign on bonus and relocation assistance are available for qualified candidates. Diagnostic Suite Our hospital offers a complete in‑hospital diagnostic suite, including a 16‑slice Toshiba Aquilion CT unit, stat‑lab, rigid and flexible endoscopy, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and digital radiography. Staff and Training The practice includes two surgeons, two internists, two criticalists, one cardiologist and several emergency doctors. We are actively hiring for a neurologist and oncologist. We also have a Minimally Invasive Surgery program and are developing an Interventional Radiology program. Candidates with IR experience are encouraged to apply. Ideal Candidate Self‑motivated, collaborative, and able to work harmoniously with other doctors, staff, and referring veterinarians. Comfortable with a variety of interactions, including personal visits, CE programs, and case discussions by phone. Committed to providing the highest quality client service to referring veterinarians, clients, and pets. Good sense of humor and the ability to interact effectively with veterinary RDVMs. Willingness to support the Interventional Radiology program, though participation is not required.
