Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Location: Beckley, WV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 06:30 - 15:00, with weekend hours required every other week, and on-call duties as needed.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Endoscopy to provide high-quality patient care in our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various endoscopic procedures and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients throughout their procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and responses during and after procedures.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and Bronchoscopy.
• Educate patients and their families about pre- and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have at least two years of nursing experience.
• Minimum of one year of Endoscopy experience is required.
• Current RN license in West Virginia.
• ACLS and BLS certification required prior to start.
• Experience with EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements preferred.
