Position Overview Zarminali Pediatrics is seeking compassionate and dedicated advanced practice clinicians to join our foundational team in "Washington, DC" with McKnight Pediatrics. In July 2025, Zarminali Pediatrics partnered with McKnight Pediatrics, a well-established and trusted name for over a decade. Now united under the Zarminali name, we are building on McKnight’s strong community roots to shape the future of pediatric care in the region and state. You will play a vital role in advancing the health of children while fostering a supportive environment for our patients, families, and community. What you’ll do Patient Care: Deliver exceptional care by diagnosing, treating, and creating personalized care plans tailored to each child's needs, while being responsive to acute concerns. Growth, Development & Preventative Health: Monitor children's physical and emotional milestones, offer early intervention and educate families on preventive care for healthy growth and development. Patient & Family Education: Support families throughout the full spectrum of the pediatric lifecycle, providing guidance and compassionate care from infancy through adolescence, fostering healthy development, and empowering families with the knowledge they need at each stage. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to best practice in documentation and healthcare regulations. Collaboration: Work alongside pediatricians, support team members and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care. Family First: Respect families’ decisions, provide evidence-based care, and aim to keep patients in mainstream settings. What you need Master's degree in nursing or a related field, as well as a certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Current and unrestricted license to practice in Washington D.C. Current and unrestricted Washington D.C. DEA license. Comfortable working in a collaborative, non-hierarchical, team-based environment. Empathy towards patients, families and caregivers. At least 2 years of experience working in an pediatric setting. BLS/ACLS Certification required. Zarminali Pediatrics is a national organization, and compensation is determined using market-informed data, including industry benchmarks. Salary ranges may vary based on geographic location, local market conditions, state-specific factors, and individual qualifications, including years of experience, education, and scope of responsibility. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for additional productivity or performance-based bonus incentives. Total compensation estimations are anywhere from $105,000- $139,000. For full-time team members, our total rewards package includes competitive base pay and performance bonus potential, along with medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, paid parental leave, 20 days of paid time off annually, 7 paid holidays plus 2 floating holidays and a supportive, inclusive and growth-focused culture.
