Multi-Specialty Profee and/or Facility Medical Coder

Multi-Specialty Profee and/or Facility Medical Coder Position Type: Full-time Multi-specialty medical coder will analyze and interpret complex records to identify and accurately bill for services using the appropriate ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS codes. Duties include assigning and sequencing billing codes in compliance with third-party payor requirements, obtaining clarification on conflicting or non-specific documentation, and reviewing coding-related denials and recommending resolutions. At least 2+ years of inpatient and outpatient professional medical coding experience required, with a background coding for multi-specialty practices. OR at least 2+ years of relevant facility coding experience, specifically in Clinics (mandatory), Lab/Radiology (mandatory), ED, OBS, SDS, and/or Inpatient (strong preference for injection/infusion experience). CPC, CCS, or CCS-P certification required. Effective communication, analytical and research skills with a keen attention to detail.
