Car Patrol in the Economy Parking lots at O'Hare Airport. Employees must patrol and secure parking lots/ structures, elevator banks, and stairwells. Employees complete DARs/ HTV logs & communicate over 2-way radios (10 codes, ie. 10-8, 10-7, etc.). Prior security experience required, mobile security experience preferred.

CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR: MORNINGS 6am-2:30pm .

Available Position(s):

• Flex Security Officer*  Sat/Sun, Additional M-F shifts as needed for call offs and vacations. Must be able to come in with 4 hours notice. 16-40 hours per week. $19.90/hr
• Part Time Security Officer  Sat/Sun, 16 hours per week, $19.40/hr

*16 hours guaranteed per week with up to 40 hours depending on call offs/vacations. Flex officers are asked pick up additional shifts as needed (up to three shifts per week in addition to weekends) and are notified of open shifts via phone call with up to 4 hours notice. 

*Priority given to candidates seeking a flex position. 

Requirements:

• Personal vehicle to commute to and from job site. Exceptions will not be made. Vehicle must be reliable. Job site not accessible through public transportation.
• Must have at least one year of experience in private security (Experience with mobile patrol preferred, MUST be present on resume)
• Experience with two way radios & radio codes (ex. 10/9, 10/7, 10/8, 10/100, etc.)
• Report writing skills and legible handwriting
• Customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to direct traffic in all weather conditions (exceptions for extreme weather)
• Able to work Holidays (Time off requests must be made with 2 months notice and are processed based on seniority.)
• Good driving record, no unpaid parking tickets with the city of Chicago.
• Valid IL driver's license required (Indiana or other states not accepted)
• 20hr security training certificate required (must have copy available)
• Valid PERC card required
• Must be able to provide photos or pdf documents of 20hr, DL, and PERC upon request. Applicants will not be considered for an interview without proof of credentials. All credentials must be valid (not expired).
