Job InformationPosition Overview: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department. This role requires nurses who are confident managing a diverse patient population, including behavioral health, trauma, emergency, boarding, and critically ill patients requiring ICU-level care. Job Type Contract | Travel Nursing Shift Night Shift | 3x12 or 4x12 Available 36/hours weekly guaranteed Pay Rate Traveler Pay Rate - $82/hour ($43/hour W-2 taxable, $39/hour non taxable stipend) - $2952 Total weekly gross for 36 hours / week Unit Details Large Emergency Department with 118 beds Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6 Mixed patient acuity ranging from stable to critically ill Dynamic environment requiring strong critical thinking and adaptabilityResponsibilities: Assess, monitor, and provide care for emergency and critically ill patients Manage multiple patient types, including trauma, behavioral health, and ICU-level cases Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols Respond effectively in high-pressure situationsRequirements: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) or ICU experience (post-orientation) Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong critical care skills and emergency response experience Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Travelers must reside outside the required local radius guidelines Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable caring for high-acuity patients in a busy emergency setting while delivering exceptional patient care.
