Position/Application Information
McNeese State University invites applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering in the Department of Engineering and Computer Science. Applications are welcomed from all areas of civil engineering, with particular interest in water resources and hydraulic engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, materials engineering, and environmental engineering. This is a full-time, 9-month, unclassified, tenure-track position. The appointment will begin in spring, January 2027.

Position Duties/Responsibilities
The Assistant Professor is responsible for functions related to teaching courses, advising students, and conducting research. The assistant professor will work closely with faculty and staff in the Department of Engineering and Computer Science.

Required/Preferred Qualifications
Required: PhD in Civil Engineering
Preferred: Experience in Civil Engineering and related field
