Hardware Engineer

Position: Hardware Engineer II
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (5 days per week onsite)
Duration: 12 month contract (2.5 year tenue limit)
Project: Design, Integration and Validation of Consumer Hardware
Compensation: $40-55/hour, 15 days of PTO, free shuttle, free breakfast and lunch onsite
Desired Experience
- Good EE fundamentals.
- Power Electronics experience (Power electronics, battery testing, or power optimization experience)
- Experience with common lab and test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, etc.
- Hardware testing experience (power measurements, power consumption, battery testing, etc.)
- Consumer electronics experience is preferred
- Python experience preferred
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Insight Global is looking for a Hardware Engineer to join one of the world's leading technology companies. This will be part of the Reality Labs organization which brings people around the world through next generation Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality. The main function of a hardware engineer is to research, design, develop, test computer or computer-related equipment for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use. A typical hardware engineer is responsible for the manufacture and installation of computer or computer-related equipment and components.
