About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13-26 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required. License: Must have active license to apply. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS required. Must-Have: Candidates must be willing to work 2-3 weekends per contract. Description: This position is for a Cath Lab Tech. The assignment duration is between 13 to 26 weeks. Shifts are 12 hours per day, from 06:30 to 19:00. Candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience are required. Active license must be held to apply for this position. Certifications needed include ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and RCIS. Candidates will be required to work 2-3 weekends during the contract period. On-call requirements will rotate among staff and agency personnel. Open to accommodating block schedules depending on discussions with management. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Specialized experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath labs is required. Key procedure skills include Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, and Diagnostic Catheterizations. Candidates should be proficient in recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias and adhering to isolation precautions and sterile technique. Experience with Cerner as a charting system is required. Candidates must be willing to float to meet facility needs as necessary. Candidates should be aware that the facility may cancel hours up to a certain limit without penalty. It is ideal for candidates to have limited time off requests. Pertinent experience with middle and older adult populations is essential.
