Job Opportunity Angels of Care currently has an opportunity for part‑time or full‑time Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLP). Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is a clinician owned and operated home health agency with experienced and knowledgeable staff serving the special needs community. Pay Range: $52,200 - $156,000 Job Description A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will implement treatment programs to assist pediatric patients with cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing and/or social/emotional disabilities and delays by planning and administering speech therapy services in the home and community. Responsibilities Provide high quality care and meet the needs of the patient and family by performing evaluations and interpreting assessment results; develop appropriate goals and create and implement speech therapy treatment plans in conjunction with the physician. Assist pediatric patients to develop or regain cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing and/or social/emotional functioning and improve their level of independence by implementing skilled interventions to maximize the potential of each individual child. Educate, coach, and empower caregivers and families to develop skills to carry over therapeutic activities into the child's daily routine. Coordinate with referral partners to provide services for children in accordance with the physician order. Ensure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing and instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs. Document patient care services and care coordination in an intuitive electronic medical record system. Maintain patient confidence by keeping information confidential.
