We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dedicated Food Service team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

About the Role

McKnight Place Extended Care is a premier senior living community committed to providing exceptional care and dining experiences to our residents. As a Dishwasher, you will be a key member of our culinary team, responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, silverware, and cooking utensils.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines according to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collect and transport soiled dishes and kitchenware from dining areas and kitchen stations.
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, floors, and equipment.
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning and organization tasks.
• Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable Transportation is required.
