Registered Nurse - Acute Rehabilitation

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 5x8 Hour shifts from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in acute rehabilitation or a willingness to float to the rehabilitation unit with proper orientation. The RN will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a high-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in acute rehabilitation.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy and Social Services.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patients' progress and health changes.
• Educate patients and their families on relevant health issues and care processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required.
• RN license valid in California required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Prior acute rehab experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to float between like units as needed.
