Location Carmel, IN; Atlanta, GA; Mount Laurel, NJ – Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office required. Job Overview Claims Advocates provide excellent customer service by ensuring all client needs are met while engaging in claims processing, evaluation, and resolution. They build robust relationships through understanding client needs and providing solutions that effectively mitigate client risks, servicing and managing a diverse book of Commercial Lines accounts. Responsibilities Act as liaison between the organization, insurance provider, and client regarding status and eligibility for coverage for all relevant claims. Receive and process first report of claim information from the client by phone or email. Gather information from client/claimant, analyze coverage, and discuss reporting to carrier. Process claim with carrier or assist client in gathering data required to settle a claim. Inform client of duties and responsibilities, advise company procedures, and acknowledge all claims in writing. Maintain proper claim file documentation including notes, correspondence, faxes, and emails in Sagitta/ImageRight. Monitor and follow up on outstanding claims, update accounts, answer inquiries, and recommend resolutions. Review and research questionable coverage decisions and report denials to management or account team. Assume ownership of customer concerns and feedback until resolution is achieved. Comply with all internal procedures and achieve service performance and quality standards. Participate in client meetings and claim reviews via conference/video calls. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Administrative Functions Coordinate loss runs and other client claim information with service teams. Intake new claims. Reports & Database Management Document client activity in Sagitta and ImageRight system. Provide status progress reports to clients and account team. Complete various reports via systems and templates. What You'll Bring Customer Service Focus: Build and maintain customer satisfaction by proactively addressing needs and concerns. Deliver highest value of service and consistently meet commitments. Professional Communication: Communicate confidently and professionally with C‑Suite across industries. Analysis & Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve complex claims issues. Negotiation & Organization: Negotiate with carriers and manage multiple claims simultaneously. Technical Proficiency: Proficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint; experience with Sagitta and ImageRight a plus. Background: 3‑5+ years claims experience with a carrier, TPA, or broker; knowledge of general liability, workers’ compensation, property, crime, inland marine, group automobile, fiduciary and related lines; college degree in Insurance or related field preferred; P&C producer license preferred but not required. Qualifications 3‑5+ years claims experience with a carrier, TPA, or broker. Knowledge of general liability, workers' compensation, property, crime, inland marine, group automobile, fiduciary and related lines. Professional communication skills with C‑Suite. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong negotiation and organizational skills. Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Sagitta and ImageRight a plus. College degree in Insurance or related field preferred. P&C producer license preferred but not required. Compensation The base salary ranges from $60,000.00 to $70,000.00, exclusive of bonuses or benefits. Pay will be determined based on experience, skills, training, certifications, and education, considering internal equity and market data.
