To provide production operation duties to ensure: 

• Continued safe operations for the facility’s packaging and palletization robotics system.
• Monitoring of robotic systems, ensuring product quality, maintaining packaging material availability, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting safe, efficient production.
• Proper and safe equipment operation in accordance with Plant Operation policies/procedures and OSHA safety rules and regulations 

Duties include:

• Monitor product quality, packaging integrity, and labeling accuracy.
• Ensure robotic palletizing systems operate safely and correctly without damaging product or packaging.
• Verify proper stacking patterns, pallet routing, and discharge lane assignments.
• Maintain adequate packaging materials, including pallets, labels, boxes, trays, sleeves, and slip sheets.
• Monitor HMIs, sensors, barcode readers, and automated equipment for alarms, faults, and jams.
• Troubleshoot and adjust photo eyes, sensors, readers, and other automation components.
• Support line swaps, packaging changeovers, and product transitions.
• Monitor bale verification, sequence verification, sampling stations, and compressor systems.
• Maintain shift activity logs and provide effective shift handovers.
• Assist with scale checks, equipment maintenance, and packaging material management.
• Performing light maintenance, including but not limited to equipment cleaning, minor adjustments, interpretation of equipment errors/failures
• Reviewing P&IDs and SOPs; 
• Computer input of quality alert information; 
• Miscellaneous other duties as required. 

• Work a 12-hour rotating shift 
• Work overtime as needed 
• Work in extreme conditions (temperature and humidity)

• Read and comprehend job procedures 
• Bending/Stooping - With activity in these positions 
• Standing - Watching, holding, taking readings 
• Squatting - With activity in these positions 
• Walking during 12-hour shifts 
• Ascending and descending stairs - varying pitches - frequently 
• Emergency Response – Fire Brigade, HAZMAT, ERT
• Reaching - Above shoulder level or below - activity in these positions 
• Pushing/Pulling- Weights up to 60 lbs. or more 
• Lifting/Carrying - Weights up to 60 lbs. or more 
• Hearing - Voice, mechanical, electronic 
• Vision - Colors, mechanical motion, steam, vapor, fluids, reading 
• Use of Hands - Operating valves, keyboards, lab tests, cleaning equipment. 
• Sense of Smell - Chemicals, burning materials 
• Mobility - able to perform a variety of tasks 
• Climbing - Ladders, up and down 
• Turning/Twisting - Able to pivot/turn/twist and perform function 
• Protective Equipment - Able to wear proper safety equipment 
• Driving (Forklifts, Pick-Up Trucks, Cars) with automatic and/or manual transmissions 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• 2-years’ experience in an industrial, manufacturing or plant environment preferred 
• Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift and to work overtime as needed 
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across shifts.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot mechanical and automation-related issues.
• Hands on with a strong attention to detail, safety, and product quality.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen, fitness test, and background check 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate degree in Process Technology 
• Minimum of 2 years post high school education 
• Experience with automated manufacturing, robotics, packaging systems, or industrial equipment preferred.
