Quality Inspector

Job Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality standards and inspection processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to accurately document and enter data.

Job Duties:

• Perform quality inspections and audits to ensure products meet established specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct internal audits and properly document audit findings.
• Utilize calipers and other precision measuring equipment accurately.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation.
• Enter and maintain accurate quality and inspection data.
• Identify quality issues, document nonconformance's, and assist with corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and customer requirements.
• Work closely with production and other departments to identify and resolve quality concerns.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of AS9100 quality management standards.
• Familiarity with Nadcap requirements and standards.
• Experience conducting or assisting with quality audits.
• Ability to properly use calipers and other measuring tools.
• Strong technical reading and blueprint interpretation skills.
• Excellent data entry and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to identify quality issues and communicate findings effectively.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or a quality-related environment preferred.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours throughout a shift
