Requirements Robert Wood Johnson- Newark Beth Isreal needs an Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Cardiologist for ongoing coverage to take care of end stage heart disease patients, heart transplant, and mechanical circulatory support (VADS). Must have an active NJ license or IMLC. Please list any anticipated procedures/surgeries the provider will be required to perform and anticipated volumes. N/A – Occasional Bedside POCUS Description of Work Assignment Provider needed for inpatient coverage (Advanced Heart Failure, LVAD, Transplant patients). CCU and Tele Coverage. Breakdown of Clinic Days/Sessions and/or OR Days Schedule of Days/Times Needed to Work/ Shift Hours on-call 1/5 and high inpatient census . Call includes nights and weekends and is beeper call. Shift hours are 8a-4p On call? Yes Patient Load Unrestricted call, census varies- House census is 25-28 for AHF but they are not seeing all patients, we have APPs and other support. Board Status Requirement (BC/BE) BC in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation Is there additional support staff? Multidisciplinary Cardiologists, fellows, APPs Is the provider working solo or with other providers? If so, whom? No and working with 4 MD attending Are there Advanced Practice Providers? If yes, is the locum’s provider responsible for them? Yes Trauma Level of Work Location No EMR System? EPIC Is the Clinic EMR Different from the Hospital EMR?
