Description: Unit accepts first-time travelers. Weekends required every other week. No call required. Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed. If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Full compliance is required to start on time. If not compliant in time, there will be a push back of 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Compliance documents must be submitted by the deadline prior to the start. All RTO must be finalized at the time of submission. No RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer. A maximum of 7 days RTO per contract is allowed. Essential skills include NICU experience, extubation, intubation assist, nasal airway placement, and suctioning. Additional skills include tracheostomy care, bag and mask ventilation, and mechanical ventilation weaning. Charting system experience is required; proficiency with Epic is preferred.
