What You'll Do:

• Assemble food and beverage items for patient tray service
• Set up, service, cashier, clean up, and sanitize for meal service in the cafeteria
• Answer telephone and deliver patient trays as needed to out-patient services
• Take daily inventory and stock items needed in patient unit kitchens
• Sort, rinse, load, wash, unload, stack, and put away dishes
• Perform routine cleaning duties as assigned
• Assist cooks with minor food prep duties and/or service as needed

What We're Looking For:

Required:

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and general public
• Ability to service medical staff and general public in the cafeteria
• Ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff regarding patients' dietary requirements
• Ability to prioritize workload and to work with minimal supervision
• Experience with computers, cash registers, and various kitchen equipment

Preferred:

• 6 months to 1 year of cafeteria or restaurant experience preferred
