Therapeutic Focus is seeking a full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide school-based services to students in the West Memphis School District .

Therapeutic Focus is a therapist-led pediatric therapy company established in 2011 . We provide outpatient and school-based pediatric therapy services throughout Arkansas, Tennessee, and Louisiana.

What You'll Do

Under the supervision and direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

• Provide speech and language services according to established student goals and plans
• Implement therapy activities and strategies as directed by the supervising SLP
• Work individually and in small groups with students, as appropriate
• Collect data and accurately document student performance and services
• Communicate student progress, observations, and concerns to your supervising SLP
• Prepare creative and engaging therapy activities
• Collaborate with your supervising SLP and appropriate members of the school team
• Participate in supervision, mentorship, team meetings, and professional development

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a field of study that meets requirements for Speech-Language Pathology Assistant practice
• Completion of required SLPA coursework and supervised clinical fieldwork
• Meets applicable Arkansas requirements to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using computers, technology, and electronic documentation
• Pediatric or school-based experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
