Mitigation Manager

Mitigation ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Mitigation Manager to lead the mitigation division for an established restoration construction company. This individual will oversee mitigation projects from the initial emergency response through completion, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with water, fire, smoke, mold, and other property-loss mitigation, along with strong leadership, customer service, and project management skills.ResponsibilitiesManage mitigation projects from initial loss through completionOversee water, fire, smoke, mold, and storm-related restoration projectsCoordinate emergency response and ensure timely mobilizationSupervise mitigation technicians and subcontractorsConduct job-site inspections and assess scope of workDevelop project scopes, budgets, and schedulesMonitor project progress, labor, materials, and equipmentCoordinate with homeowners, insurance adjusters, property managers, and other stakeholdersReview and approve estimates, change orders, and project documentationEnsure proper documentation of job-site conditions and completed workManage drying, demolition, cleaning, contents, and remediation processes as applicableEnsure projects comply with company standards, safety requirements, and industry guidelinesTrack equipment and materials used on mitigation projectsAssist with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of mitigation staffResolve customer concerns and maintain strong client relationshipsMonitor project profitability and production metricsCommunicate project status and issues to company leadershipEnsure proper closeout and handoff of completed mitigation projectsQualifications3+ years of experience in restoration, mitigation, or disaster recoveryPrevious leadership or management experience preferredStrong knowledge of water mitigation and structural dryingExperience with fire/smoke restoration, mold remediation, or storm restoration is a plusExperience working with insurance claims and adjustersStrong understanding of restoration estimating and documentationAbility to read scopes of work and understand construction processesExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentValid driver's license and reliable transportationPreferred CertificationsIICRC WRT – Water Restoration TechnicianIICRC ASD – Applied Structural DryingIICRC FSRT – Fire & Smoke Restoration TechnicianIICRC AMRT – Applied Microbial Remediation TechnicianXactimate experience is highly preferredIf you are an experienced restoration professional ready to take the next step into a leadership role, we'd love to hear from you!All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
