Order Entry Clerk

The Order Entry Clerk accurately processes incoming customer orders, verifies specifications against manufacturing lead times, and acts as the liaison between sales, production control, and logistics to ensure seamless order fulfillment. Core Roles: Receive and ensure accuracy of customer orders Arrange and quote freight for customers Generate sales acknowledgments and invoices Essential Job Functions: Generate and coordinate all documents required for product shipments (domestic and international) Coordinate timing and method of shipment between customer and freight companies Answer phones and direct calls as needed Assist operation support personnel as needed Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or GED 2 years of experience performing order entry Intermediate to advanced skill level using Microsoft Office Ability to work independently under limited supervision Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently Strong attention to detail and work accuracy Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent/relevant work experience Background in a manufacturing environment is preferred 3-5 years of experience performing order entry, shipping, billing or other accounting functions Experience using accounting software applications #J-18808-Ljbffr Ps Industries
