Location: Plantation, FL

Unit: Cath Lab and Special Procedures

Building: Main

General Information

Number of Beds: 4 rooms, 1 patient per room
Number of Staff: 22, including RNs and Techs
Day Shift Staff: 1 Charge RN, 1 Director, 4 staff members per room (16 total)
Night Shift: On-call team, 3 staff members per call team (7 total)
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Type of Equipment: All GE rooms
EMR: Meditech and MacLab

Typical Hiring Profile

Essential Skills: Candidates must possess the following certifications and competencies:

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Experience in Special Procedures & GE Innova

Preferred Skills: Candidates with additional relevant experience will be given priority.

Cardiac Catheterization
Cerebral Angiograms
Stenting Procedures
Balloon Angioplasty
ENT Lab Procedures

The ideal candidate will be a team player who thrives in a close-knit environment. Strong critical thinking skills and a focus on patient care in a fast-paced setting are essential. Flexibility and adaptability to the unit's needs are also required as on-call duties are frequent.

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Surgical scrubs provided by the unit
Acceptable Attire: Professional surgical attire; specific unacceptable attire will be outlined during orientation.
