Job Description
Electrophysiology Monitoring Technician

Schedule

Primarily days with some late nights and on-call as needed, available in either 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts.

Job Description

The Electrophysiology Monitoring Technician will provide essential assistance to the Electrophysiologist during EP studies, ablations, and cardiac implants. Responsibilities include communication with medical staff to ensure all equipment and supplies are ready, as well as facilitating room turnover for timely patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in electrophysiology studies and ablations.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure necessary equipment is available.
• Implement EP pacing and monitor during procedures.
• Facilitate room turnover and maintain on-time starts.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and staff for scheduled procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Tech License: RCES or Radiologic Tech license or RN License (New York Only).
• 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Cardiac implant or structural heart scrub experience preferred but not required.
• GE (MacLab & CardioLab) system experience preferred but not required.
• Bloom Stimulator experience preferred but not required.
