Financial Assistant
Provisional vacancy; pending inclusion in the NYS HELPS Program through Erie County Civil Service
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the District Treasurer with the custody of the money, deposits and accounts.
- Assist the District Treasurer in maintaining records of receipts, including invoicing.
- Assist the District Treasurer in maintaining records of disbursements.
- Assist in making check deposits and reconciles bank statements for all funds.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and statements concerning district finances.
- Assist in budget formation and control.
- Custodian of district credit cards.
- Maintain workers compensation and general liability insurance and related reporting.
- Maintain unemployment reporting.
- To perform such other duties as assigned by the Business Administrator and/or District Treasurer.
